Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the cleaning take?

This really depends on how large the areas to be cleaned are and how heavily soiled the carpeting is. On average, two rooms and a hallway will take about an hour and a half.

How long will my carpets take to dry?

Carpets usually dry in a couple of hours. Areas that are heavily soiled may require additional cleaning solution and may take longer to dry. Small area fans will assist in quicker dry time if you have them available. Dry time could possibly be extended when high humidity in the air exists, such as periods of heavy rainfall.

What type of cleaning does your company do?

We employ a rotary brush cleaning method using an encapsulant cleaning solution. What does that mean? We are not a truck mount. Our machines have a rotary brush that agitates the carpet pile while cleaning solution is released. We do not extract which often leads to the next question.

Where does the dirt go?

The magic is in the crystal polymers found in the encapsulant cleaning solution. These polymers in this detergent mixture are like the "second wave" in an army attack. After the detergents have done their work (attacking, separating soils from fibers, etc.) the crystallizing polymers surround or encapsulate the detergent in solution and the soils that are now suspended or emulsified. As the entire mixture dries, the encapsulation polymers dry to a crystal. This crystal is not sticky; instead, it allows easy removal with subsequent vacuuming. Each time the carpet is vacuumed, it gets cleaner because more soils inside the crystal polymers are vacuumed away.

Is your cleaning “green”?

Green is a term that is used for cleaning products that are Green Seal certified. These products are more costly than conventional products. As a result, companies who use true Green Seal certified products tend to have much higher prices. Some companies mislabel their cleaning as green when in actuality their products are not Green Seal certified. In attempts to be as close to “green” as possible, while remaining within an affordable price range for our customers, we use products that are eco-friendly and non-toxic so the cleaning will be safe for the whole family, children and pets included.

Do you service my area?

We service the Denver Metro area. Our boundaries currently extend in approximately a 15 mile radius from Downtown. We travel as far out as Lafayette, Superior, Golden, Lone Tree , Aurora and Brighton.  See our contact us page for a service map.

What do I need to do to prepare for my cleaning?

We are providing you a service and so we don't want you to "work" to have us in your home.  We simply ask you to pick up small items that may be in the areas to be cleaned such as clothes, toys and other odds and ends.  You do not need to move furniture from those areas.  The technician will move most furniture during the cleaning.  Items they will not move include but are not limited to entertainment centers, hutches, grandfather clocks, desks, beds, and dressers.  You also do not need to vacuum, the technician will take care of that as well.  If you have a voucher for the cleaning please have that available for the technician.

What method of payment do you accept?

Payment can be made to the technician at the time of cleaning with cash or check.  If you are unable to pay with those methods please let us know in advance and we can make arrangements to accept a credit card payment.  There will be a 3% charge for credit card processing.

Can you help with pet problems?

Yes we can! We offer several solutions for pet problems. First we offer a hospital grade sanitizer to kill germs and bacteria in the carpet and upholstery fibers. For odor we provide a product whose natural odor eliminators use the power of nature and molecular science to get rid of organic and inorganic odors. Rather than masking unwanted odors, our product goes to the source to destroy the odor. More importantly it uses no toxins, so they it is safe to use around people and pets.

Do you offer a soil retardant product?

We offer Scotch Guard as an option for those customers who would like to reapply the protective coating to their carpet.

Do I really need Scotch Guard?

We recommend Scotch Guard to all our customers to increase the longevity of their carpet. When carpet is manufactured a protective coating is applied. As time goes by that coating is eventually removed by the friction of normal wear and tear. Without the protective coating dirt begins sticking to the carpet fibers and spots and traffic areas develop. The carpet cleaning will remove the dirt, oil and grime as best as possible but without reapplying the protective coating the dirt will stick to the carpet fibers more quickly. Scotch Guard is always optional and we will never pressure you to purchase. Should you decide against the Scotch Guard, we recommend implementing a “no shoe” policy in your home to prolong the cleanliness of your carpet.
